Leung Siu-ming

Leung Siu-ming is a National Class One Performer. He enrolled in the training course of the Zhanjiang Little Phoenix Cantonese Opera Troupe at the age of thirteen, where he bene_tted from the mentoring of the famous artist, Kong Queping, and later that of the Hong Kong Cantonese Opera divo, Maestro Lam Kar-sing. In 1997, he became a formal disciple of the renowned Cantonese Opera artist, Lam Kam-tong. He resettled in Hong Kong under the city’s Talent Admission Scheme. Leung has starred in numerous productions, including Lu Wenlong with His Double Spears, Zhou Yu,_underous Battle Drums, Lin Chong, and _e Priceless Jade. He has earned many accolades in his career, including the Gold Award at the Guangdong Drama Performance Competition, the Outstanding Actor Award at the 11th Guangdong Arts Festival, and recognition as one of the Top 10 Young-to-Middle-Aged Actors in Guangdong. He has also led troupes on tours to the United States, Canada, Singapore, and other countries. In 2010, his performance in _e Temple of the Mountain God in the Snowstorm at the Shanghai World Expo was highly acclaimed, winning the admiration and support of audiences both domestically and internationally.
