Specializing in female roles (花旦 Hua-dan)，Cheng has practiced Chinese dance since three years old. Influenced by her family, she has developed a strong interest in Chinese opera. In 2022, she joined the “Course for Young Cantonese Opera Performers” at the Cantonese Opera Academy (COA) of Hong Kong (八和粵劇學院). After four years of training, she graduated in 2026. Through the “Elite Young Talents Cantonese Opera Legacy Program”, she hopes to obtain more learning opportunities and to apply her acquired knowledge into practice on stage.
