Performance Introduction


Yeung Yuk-wan, a talented and breathtaking lady, has been the Emperor’s favorite ever since she get chosen into the harem. Yuk-wan’s arrival has stirred up trouble within the harem for concubine Mui is envy of her.

On Lok-san, an official, has lusted for Yuk-wan’s beauty for long, and he seizes his chance during a night where Yuk-wan is drunk. The accident has later been found by the Emperor, which he banishes Lok-san. The collateral damage has also made the Emperor lost interest of Yuk-wan.

During the Chinese valentine, the Emperor gets to the temple and seeks to amend with Yuk-wan, which they do. They then vow to be together ever after.

Soon after, Lok-san raises a rebel, for he seeks to make Yuk-wan his. In chaos, the Emperor retreat to the west in a rush. The Emperor’s soldiers kill Yuk-wan’s father themselves, for thinking he is a traitor, which they aim next at Yuk-wan, to ease the army, the Emperor bid a last farewell with his beloved concubine.
