The Four Scholars

Once upon a time, there were four students, Mao Peng, Tian Lun, Gu Du and Liu Ti. All of them were good friends and they later became scholars together. Before being government officials, they made a commitment to be honest and clean in performing their official duties. After that, these four officials were assigned to work in different places for many years. Some of them kept their promise to work honestly, however, some of them didn't. Coincidentally, these four scholars met again when a homicide case happened.
