Performance Introduction

Cho Ba Tin, a domineering general of the State of Nobleness, returns from a victorious war in the south. Forcing the Emperor to grant him a peerage, Ba Tin requests a marriage with the Princess. The Princess has always been disliking Ba Tin and refuses to see him. While playing at the countryside with her maid Chun Fa, the Princess comes across a bandit. Luckily, the ladies are saved by Cheung Kim Chau, whom the Princess falls in love at the first sight. Kim Chau misses the Princess so much that he sneaks into the palace. The jealous Ba Tin besieges the palace with his troops, prisoning Kim Chau at a secret chamber as a hostage, and forcing the Princess to accept the marriage proposal. After being saved by the heroes from the Mountain, Kim Chau disguises as a maid and sneaks back to the palace. Pleased at the Princess’s loyalty in love, Kim Chau vows to defeats Ba Tin. On the wedding day, when Ba Tin lifts the bride’s veil, the one behind it turns out to be the servant Ka Fuk. Kim Chau and the heroes from the Mountain fight fiercely against Ba Tin and his troops. As Ba Tin loses in the fight, Kim Chau eventually gets married with his beloved Princess.
