A Rainy Night by the River Post Station

The father and daughter, Zhang Tianjue and Zhang Cuiluan, are separated because the sinking of their ship during their travel. Cuiluan is saved by an old fisherman, Cui Wenyuan, whom later adopts Cuiluan as her adopted daughter. He later matches her with his promising nephew, Cui Tong. Cui Tong left for the imperial exam and has not been heard of for 3 years afterward. The worried uncle is now too old to look for him, hence Cuiluan goes for her adopted father, but just to find out that her husband has already married someone else…

* An opening ceremony and the set piece "Birthday of the God of Venus" will be performed before the start of the 30 July performance. The show would start early at 7:30pm.
