Performance Introduction

The Liao's army surrounds Hongzhou and Yang Zongbao asks for reinforcements. Kou Zhun and the Song Emperor turn to the Tian Bo Mansion for assistance but Madame She refuses to take on the mission due to Mu Guiying's pregnancy. However, Guiying falls into Kou Zhun's little scheme and agrees to be the Commander in Chief. Guiying scolds Zongbao for being late in reporting to the military camp, but at the end, he still takes on the post as vanguard and the young couple fight together.

Zongbao uses the "Linked Boats" tactic to ensure the army's safety in crossing the river. Provoked by the Liao army, Zongbao defied Guiying's orders, fights the enemies alone and is defeated. Infuriated, Guiying sentences Zongbao to be executed, but Liulang came to ask for pardon. Zongbao's life is saved but he is flogged and paraded around the camp in shame. Inside the couple's camp, the two lovers are upset at each other and Princess Chai comes to resolve their problem. With the help of Zongbao, Guiying leads her army to fight the Liao, killing the Liao general, Bai Tianzuo, and reclaim Hongzhou.
