The Gilded Fan

Zhaohua, the daughter of the Prime Minister, has been engaged with Guo Yanzhang, which is an order by the Emperor. But soon the Guo family has a fall, and the Prime Minister ditches them for good. A cousin of Zhaohua wishes to know if Zhaohua will still marry Yanzhang or not, hence disguised as him and breaks into Zhaohua’s room at night, got kicked out right away. The real Yanzhang arrives just after that, knowing nothing about the previous accidence,is being pushed away for no good reason. He thinks his fiancée is nothing better than her father. To make things worse, Yaoquan, another cousin of Zhaohuo, shows up in front of Yanzhang, claiming he is the one who has Yanzhang’s blessing and shows the already heartbroken one the golden fans of engagement...
