    Performance Introduction

During the Qin dynasty, Princess of Hung Shan is in love with Yeung Gwong, who is in demotion to the premise of Lum Chon. Chiu ChunFat and Sun FukHoi convince Yeung to usurp the throne with force. The Court Lady Tung Sheung Hung further forges the king’s final will to assume Yeung as heir apparent; she then proceeds to coax Yeung into massacring his court officials. In a confrontation, Yeung subjects the Princess to a severe caning before repatriating her to her provenance. In addition, Yeung also dissolves the Princess’ troops, and betroths her to Chiu by decree.

The oppressed people rebelled; Yu Man Lut Fa raises an expedition to overthrow Yeung. Yeung loses and he becomes a fugitive and escaped to DanYang. Fuk Hoi asks Yeung to seek help from the Princess, but is thwarted by the Court Lady who wishes to persevere with the dwindling troops.

The Princess regrets installing a tyrant, laying waste to the country. Yet despite Chiu’s constant beseeching to overthrow Yeung for restoration, she hesitates, because of her lingering feelings for Yeung. The Court Lady then persuades Yeung to surrender to the Barbarians in order to eke out an inglorious existence. Despite his atrocities, the villain would not succumb to treason. He first executes the Court Lady and then commits suicide to appease the people.
