Performance Introduction


Siu Waan Pui and Lau Gan (King Chu) are engaged, but to ensure the safety of Emperor Han, the couple accompany Waanpui's father, Siu Chung Yin, to seek sanctuary at the Sheung clan's fortress. To their surprise, the master of the fortress Sheung Mo Lit has formed an alliance with the barbaric Huns tribe and everyone is imprisoned. Mo Lit loathed the Han Empire, he forces Waan Pui to marry his son, Sheung Ga Hau, and intends to hand over the other prisoners to the King of Huns. On the wedding night, Waan Pui and Lady Tsing Mui persuade Ga Hau to defy his father and finally rescue Emperor Han and the others. Safely returned to court, Lau Gan (King Chu) wishes to reclaim his love and so he banishes Ga Hau to the frontier. Waan Pui, now Ga Hau's wife, declares that she will follow her husband to the frontier. At the execution ground, Mo Lit is awaiting to be beheaded as Ga Hau passes by on his way to the frontier. Lady Tsing Mui and Waan Pui also come to see them. Emperor Han cherishes Mo Lit and Ga Hau's talents and pardoned them. The family is happily reunited.
