The Moon Pavilion Part I

Wong Shui-lan, daughter of the Minister of War, is separated from her mother during the war and meets the cultivated talent Cheung Sai-lung one day in the wilderness. They pretand to be a couple and eventually fall in love during the journey.

On the other hand, Madame Wong meets and adopts Sai-lung’s sister Cheung Shui-lin. Shui-lan and Sai-lung take refuge at where Chun Hing-fuk stays and get married. However, Shui-lan’s snobbish father, Wong Chen, separates the couple. Grieved, Sai-lung tries to drown himself in the river. Madame Bin saves and adopts him.
