Chan Hoi-man specializes in dan (female) roles. She began her training in childhood under Ip Pui-ying before studying Chinese Opera at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she received multiple scholarships. She refined her vocal styles under Yip On-yee and Wong Yee-man, and her stage movement and repertoire under Xing Jin-sha and Hong Hai. A Cantonese Operatic Duet champion at the 69th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, Chan now actively performs with major troupes to continuously hone her artistry.
