Currently pursuing a double degree in Arts and Language Education at the University of Hong Kong. Specializing in male roles. Hon is graduated from the Cantonese Opera Academy of Hong Kong. He has been an apprentice to Paris Wong since 2015, studying theory and acting techniques and to Lai Sing since 2017, studying vocal performance. Hon performs with numerous major Cantonese Opera troupes, including Hung Wan, San Kwan Ying, Mei Yu and Golden Blossom.

In 2019, Hon participated in the editing of a compilation of Cantonese Opera script for the Propaganda Department of Guangdong. Hon also actively takes part in outreach programmes for primary and secondary schools, endeavors to introduce this traditional art form to the younger generation.
