Lovers' Destiny

Fan Ka-shu(Fan Jiashu) has to leave Sudi because of his mother's illness, so he bids farewell to his friend Kwan Chau-fung(Guan Shoufeng) and lover Shum Fung-heung(Shen Fengxi). Soon after Ka Shu has gone, Fung-heung’s uncle Shum Sam-yun(Shen Sanxian) dedicates Fung-heung to the prime minister Lau Gan(Liu Jin), who has trapped Fung-heung in his official residence for days. Ka-shu arrives and makes trouble in front of Lau’s official residence in order to rescue Fung-heung, which makes Lau the prime minister angry. To save her lover, Fung-heung breaks up with Ka-shu.

Fung-heung escapes from the official residence and runs to Kwan’s home, in which Ka-shu has stayed. The young lovers get back together, but soon the prime minister comes to catch them. Lau Gan interrogates the young lovers through night. The rebels led by Chau-fung and Shau-ku arrive and rescue Fung-heung and Ka-shu. Lau Gan leads his army to search for the rebels, but the rebels is on a roll and they end Lau Gan's live.
