Meeting Lady Wei in a Dream

The widow princess Ping-yeung has a lover, the slave, Wai Ching. To promote Wai Ching’s status, Ping-yeung arranges a romantic encounter between Wai Ching’s sister, Tze-hing and the Emperor Han who passes by Baling. The Emperor crushes on Tze-hing and reward her as Lady Wai. However, the Empire’s governing power is controlling by Empress Chan and her brother, who are the granddaughter and grandson of the Queen Dowager. To avoid the Chans harming his lover, the Emperor refuses to bring Tze-hing back to the palace, and promote Wai Ching as the imperial guard. Yet, Ping-yeung discloses Lady Wai to the jealous Empress Chan, and the Emperor sends Wai Ching to lead the defensive troops as the Huns invades at the same time. How can Lady Wai go through Empress Chan’s trickery safely?
