The Story of Horse Selling

Having discovered their stepmother Saam-chun’s affair with Tin Wong, siblings Li Kwai-gi and Bo-tung have no choice but leave the house. When Kwai-gi's father Li Ki comes home from horse selling, he asks the maid Chun-fa the whereabouts of his children but in vain. What is more, Chun-fa is later found dead, which is used by Saam-chun and Tin Wong who accuse Li Ki of attempting to rape Chun-fa and causing her death. They even bribe the county magistrate to sentence Li Ki to death.

But who knows that Kwai-gi will be adopted by Lau's family and later married to the magistrate of Baocheng County, Chiu Chung? And when she hears of her father's imprisonment, she is determined to rescue her father, with a bit of wit and the help of her husband...

Special announcement (01/12/2020):

Due to the pandemic disease, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced that all performance venues will only open for livestream and recorded performances/activities without live audiences and rehearsals by professional groups, the performance of the "The Story of Horse Selling" originally scheduled at 7:30PM on December 9 and 10, 2020 will be cancelled. The details on the programme change will be announced soon.

As the performances were cancelled due to the closure of performance venues, the performance scheduled on 9 & 10 December 2020 cannot arrange re-sheduled performance and refund will be arranged.

Patrons who keep the original intact tickets can use them for the rescheduled performance on the assigned dates.
