On the other hand, Madame Wong(Madame Wang) meets and adopts Sai-lung’s sister Cheung Shui-lin(Jiang Ruilian). Shui-lan and Sai-lung take refuge at where Chun Hing-fuk(Qin Xingfu) stays and get married. However, Shui-lan’s snobbish father, Wong Chun(Wang Zhen), separates the couple. Wong Chun is promoted to prime minister three years later and he intends to marry Shui-lan and Shui-lin to the best two candidates in the imperial examination. In fact, they are Sai-lung and Hing-fuk under new names. Sai-lung and Shui-lan go to the Yuen-miu Temple to mourn their beloved one before the wedding.
