<p style="text-align:justify">Deng Haipeng graduated from Guangdong Cantonese Opera School in 2019. Then he studied at the School of Chinese Opera of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Specializing in Cau character.<br />
His repertoire includes: A Ghost Finds Her Love, &ldquo;Stealing the Flute&rdquo;, &ldquo;The court dispute&rdquo; form Different Moon Love and Chuncao Barging into the Court.<br />

Deng Haipeng

Since 2012, the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong has become the venue partner of Yau Ma Tei Theatre, with the aim to nurture new talents ranging from performers to backstage practitioners. The Showcase is supported by revered industry titans as Artistic Director and offering hands-on tutoring to over one hundred young talents. By staging more than one hundred performances and outreach programmes each year, the Showcase not only hopes to pass on the legacy to the young artists, but also attract new audience, encouraging them to appreciate the genuine beauty of the traditional Cantonese opera - which is the only art form of Hong Kong enlisted onto UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
