Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with an Advanced Certificate in Cantonese Opera. She was granted a scholarship from the Hongkong Bank Foundation to study in Beijing. Chan was apprenticed to her godfather Lam Kam-tong. She studied under renowned artists like Poon Sai-lun, Leung Sum-yee, Ng Luk-kwong, Ye Anyi, Ying Kam-sha and Hu Zhifeng. She enrolled in our Young Talent Showcase Programme in 2016. She was selected as a Rising Star of Cantonese Opera by West Kowloon Xiqu Centre in the same year. Chan is currently an artist with the Hong Kong Young Talent Cantonese Opera Troupe.
