The Beauty and the General

Leung Man-yung, a hypocrite representative and an obsequious person who is always on the make. Fair without, foul within. Princess Ngan-ping is deceived by Man-yung and provides military support in his attempt to steal the throne. Wai Kon-sing, a valiant general who admires Princess Ngan-ping, is outraged to learn that Man-yung executed meritorious courtiers and obsesses over the maid Tse Sheung-ngo after ascending the throne. Therefore, Kon-sing storms into To Fa Palace to question Man-yung. To comfort General Kon-sing and Princess Ngan-ping and divert attention, Man-yung decides to arrange a marriage between Kon-sing and Ngan-ping, and demote them back to Tan Yeung city. Princess Ngan-ping finally discerns Man-yung’s true colours and feels guilty that she once supported Man-yung. After all of this, will Princess Ngan-ping do something to bring order out of chaos...?
