It all starts at the Peach Blossom Lake. Yam Kam-shing(Ren Jincheng) and Chu Tan-fung(Zhu Danfeng) encounter each other when hunting eagles. They fall in love immediately, and exchange a pair of&nbsp;arrows as tokens of engagment.

&nbsp;

What they don&#39;t know is that one of them is the prince of the East Qi, while the other is the soon-to-be queen of Nanping. After ascending to&nbsp;the throne, Tan-fung wishes to make Kam-shing her husband. Everything goes smooth, until Tan-fung&#39;s sister accuses Kam-shing of raping her the other night. So, what has happened?

Since 2012, the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong has become the venue partner of Yau Ma Tei Theatre, with the aim to nurture new talents ranging from performers to backstage practitioners. The Showcase is supported by revered industry titans as Artistic Director and offering hands-on tutoring to over one hundred young talents. By staging more than one hundred performances and outreach programmes each year, the Showcase not only hopes to pass on the legacy to the young artists, but also attract new audience, encouraging them to appreciate the genuine beauty of the traditional Cantonese opera - which is the only art form of Hong Kong enlisted onto UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
