Apprenticed to the famed Cantonese Opera artist Man Chin-sui and renowned musician Poon Sai-lun. Apprenticed for over 20 years. Specializing in male scholar roles and male warrior roles. 

  • What is your quest in art?
    Honoring my predecessors and galvanizing my successors. I strive to grow both as an artist and as a person.
  • Please share an interesting anecdote or an unforgettable moment on stage.
    Sharing the stage with my master, Man Chin-sui, when performing excerpts from old formulaic plays. I was really anxious.
  • What has been the greatest reward of joining our Young Talent Showcase?
    Being instructed by veteran artists and watching their demonstration. It has been a beneficial and rewarding experience.
