<p style="text-align:justify">He has become interested in Cantonese opera since childhood. When he grows up, his family is open minded and supportive to his decision in entering this industry. The art of Cantonese opera is broad and profound, and there are many criteria that need to be honed, such as singing, acting, recitation, fighting, and Cantonese opera performance methods. He hopes to play Mousang in more different types of Cantonese opera in the future.<br />

Since 2012, the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong has become the venue partner of Yau Ma Tei Theatre, with the aim to nurture new talents ranging from performers to backstage practitioners. The Showcase is supported by revered industry titans as Artistic Director and offering hands-on tutoring to over one hundred young talents. By staging more than one hundred performances and outreach programmes each year, the Showcase not only hopes to pass on the legacy to the young artists, but also attract new audience, encouraging them to appreciate the genuine beauty of the traditional Cantonese opera - which is the only art form of Hong Kong enlisted onto UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
