  • How old were you at debut? How did you feel?
    In my first year of apprenticeship, I played Sixth Lady in “The Joint Investiture”. Though it was a small role, I can still feel my heart thumping.
  • What aspect of the art do you think you need to work on?
    I need to watch more performances by veterans and study them carefully, not as if I were going to the movies. Also, I would like to participate in more performances to build my repertoire, hone my acting skills and get more inspiration in acting.
  • What is your attitude in learning Cantonese opera? How does it bring to bear on your pursuits in the art?
    "Asking" is my learning attitude. On my road to mastery there are numerous teachers and veterans, who are consummate maestros, and who have offered their selfless guidance.
