<p>Specializing in female roles. She was apprenticed to the vocalist Wong Yee-men, whose style is influenced by Bak &nbsp;Sheut-sin. Chung has also been mentored by her godmother Lilian Yeung Lai-hung. She studied under Bak Suet-mui and Bak&nbsp;Suet-hung when studying abroad in Vancouver. She also studied rhythm and classical enunciation under the master, Wong To, a Titan of the industry.&nbsp;</p>

Since 2012, the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong has become the venue partner of Yau Ma Tei Theatre, with the aim to nurture new talents ranging from performers to backstage practitioners. The Showcase is supported by revered industry titans as Artistic Director and offering hands-on tutoring to over one hundred young talents. By staging more than one hundred performances and outreach programmes each year, the Showcase not only hopes to pass on the legacy to the young artists, but also attract new audience, encouraging them to appreciate the genuine beauty of the traditional Cantonese opera - which is the only art form of Hong Kong enlisted onto UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
