Apprenticed to Cheung Po-wah, Lam Kam-tong and Wan Fai-yin. Leung completed a four-year training program in Cantonese Opera at the Cantonese Opera Academy of Hong Kong. Apprenticed for 11 years. Specializing in female roles. 

  • Which veteran artist are you a fan of, and why?
    Yuen Siu-fai. His portrayal of characters is strong and convincing. His encyclopedic knowledge of Cantonese Opera inspires admiration.
  • What is your quest in art?
    I would like to cultivate a younger viewership and promote the art to a broader international audience so that it would be more widely appreciated.
  • What has been the greatest reward of joining our Young Talent Showcase?
    Gaining experience in team work and opportunities to put what I’ve learnt into practice on stage.
