Apprenticed for 5 years. Wan graduated from the Cantonese Opera Academy of Hong Kong. Specializing in male roles. His father’s enthusiasm in Cantonese Opera helped in cultivating a love for the art in him from a young age. He has been learning the art through practising it

  • Which veteran artist are you a fan of, and why?
    My favorite is Sun Ma Sze Tsang. I am a huge fan of his distinctive enunciation, style and portrayal of characters.
  • What is your quest in art?
    I would like to become an estimable artist and bring the art form to different parts of the world.
  • Please share with us an interesting anecdote or an unforgettable moment on stage.
    My most memorable moments are where I forgot my lines on stage due to nervousness or inexperience when I first started out performing.
